Version 1.0. Effective and last updated: 14 July 2026. Canonical URL: https://barycenter.live/legal/terms

These Terms are an agreement between you and Relux Works LLC. English is the controlling version; the Russian translation is intended to have the same meaning.

T-01. Acceptance and eligibility

By creating or joining a Barycenter, sending content, using the Pulsar bot or otherwise using a non-local Pulsar feature, you accept these Terms, the Pulsar Privacy Policy and the Content Guidelines. You must be at least 13. If you have not reached legal majority where you live, a parent or legal guardian must permit your use where required. You may not use Pulsar where the service or your intended use is unlawful, sanctioned, embargoed or otherwise prohibited.

T-02. What Pulsar provides

Pulsar is a private, target-limited audio communication tool. It supports explicit recording and file submission, delivery to selected Pulsar people or devices, local playback testing, receipts, DND, blocking, reporting and moderation. Features are introduced in phases and may differ by platform or version. The currently published app and listing, not a roadmap, determine the features included in your build.

Pulsar is not a public commercial-music rebroadcast service, an emergency service, a guaranteed archival service or an end-to-end encrypted messenger. Do not rely on it for emergency calls, permanent storage or information that requires E2EE.

T-03. Accountless credentials and responsibility

The primary Pulsar flow does not create an email/username account. It gives an installation separate device, control and recovery credentials. Keep them in the operating system's protected storage and do not publish or share them. Anyone who controls a valid credential may be able to act within its scope.

Recovery requires a surviving authorized credential or an authorized person who can invite or re-pair you. Relux Works does not store a replayable copy of your secret and cannot promise recovery after all authorized credentials are lost. Report suspected compromise to support@barycenter.live and rotate or revoke the affected credential when the product provides that control.

T-04. Your content and necessary licence

You retain ownership of audio, text and other content you submit. You represent that you created it or have all permissions, licences and consents needed to record, upload, process and share it with every selected recipient, and that it complies with law and the Content Guidelines.

You grant Relux Works a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, limited to the time and purposes necessary to host, validate, transcode, normalize, copy, transmit, play, display metadata, secure, back up, investigate and moderate that content and to operate features you request. This licence does not permit us to sell your content or use it to train a generative-AI model. It ends when the content is deleted, except for restricted evidence, recovery points, legal holds and minimal records described in the Privacy Policy.

T-05. Recipient privacy and consent

Before recording another person or sharing information about them, obtain any notice and consent required by the law that applies to you. Do not use Pulsar to disclose another person's private or sensitive information without a lawful basis and their required consent. A selected recipient may hear, record or copy a clip; Pulsar cannot retrieve an independent copy from that recipient.

T-06. Acceptable use

You must follow the Content Guidelines at https://barycenter.live/legal/content-guidelines. In particular, do not use Pulsar for unlawful, infringing, exploitative, threatening, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, privacy-invasive, fraudulent, malicious or spam content; to sexualize or endanger a minor; to evade a block, DND or access control; to attack, probe or overload the service; or to impersonate another person or Relux Works.

T-07. Music and third-party rights

Pulsar grants no music, performance, broadcast or other third-party content rights. Do not upload commercial music or other protected material unless you hold the rights needed for this exact processing and recipient group. Do not use Pulsar for public performance, business playback, radio-style distribution or any other public or commercial rebroadcast.

Optional Telegram and Spotify functions are independent integrations and also require compliance with their current terms, privacy policies, user guidelines and account rules. Pulsar is not sponsored or endorsed by Telegram or Spotify. Spotify credentials and subscription rights remain between you and Spotify; Telegram data you send through Telegram remains subject to Telegram's service. An integration may be restricted or removed if its provider changes access or if continued operation would violate law or provider rules.

T-08. Delivery, DND and availability

You choose intended recipients, but delivery is not guaranteed. A target may be offline, blocked, in DND, incompatible, expired or otherwise unavailable. Receipts describe coordinator-visible state and are not proof that a natural person heard or understood a clip. Pulsar must not silently autoplay a stale clip after a long offline period.

We use reasonable efforts to operate the service, but it may be interrupted by maintenance, defects, capacity, security incidents, third-party changes or events outside our control. We may modify or discontinue a feature and will give notice when applicable law or an active paid commitment requires it.

T-09. Reports, blocks and enforcement

You may report accessible content sent by another Pulsar user and may block that sender. Report honestly and do not submit a report to harass, expose or deceive. Authorized moderators may review metadata and a restricted evidence copy and may take no action, delete media, disable an actor or disable a Barycenter. We may also preserve evidence, restrict access or act on a valid request from Microsoft, a court, regulator, law-enforcement authority or rights holder.

Moderation coverage is Monday-Friday 10:00-19:00 GMT+4. The operating targets are 2 business days for an ordinary report and 24 hours for an urgent removal request. These are response targets, not a promise that every investigation or remedy will finish within that period. Urgent removal requests may be sent to moderation-urgent@barycenter.live; ordinary reports may be sent to moderator@barycenter.live or submitted in the product when available.

T-10. Deletion and retention

An authorized sender may delete an active clip. New access is revoked immediately and physical cleanup is queued, but deletion cannot erase audio already heard or copied by a recipient, an independent Telegram/Spotify copy, a restricted report evidence hold, a lawful hold, minimal integrity records or pre-deletion database metadata in recovery points that expire within seven days. Detailed current limits are in the Privacy Policy.

Pulsar is not an archive. Ready audio normally expires within seven days. Keep your own lawful copy if you need one after that time.

T-11. Relux Works property and feedback

Pulsar, its software, design, trademarks and documentation are owned by Relux Works or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, Relux Works grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the distributed application for its intended personal purpose. This does not limit rights granted by an applicable open-source licence. You may not misuse Relux Works marks or imply endorsement. If you voluntarily provide feedback, we may use it without a payment obligation, without taking ownership of your separate content.

T-12. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Pulsar at any time and may delete media or dissolve a Barycenter through available controls. We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect people or the service, comply with law or a platform request, or respond to serious or repeated violations. Where appropriate, contact moderator@barycenter.live to ask for review of an enforcement action. Sections that by nature must survive, including accrued rights, necessary content licences, disclaimers, liability, disputes and limited retention, continue after termination.

T-13. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Pulsar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without an implied promise of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, permanent retention or successful delivery. You are responsible for your content, recipients, recording consent, device configuration, third-party accounts and lawful use.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Relux Works is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive loss, lost profit or business, or loss caused by a recipient's independent copy, a third-party service or credentials you fail to protect. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, or any mandatory consumer right. If a jurisdiction does not allow a limitation, it applies only to the extent permitted there.

T-14. Governing law, courts and consumer rights

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any mandatory forum or consumer right that applies where you live, disputes are submitted to the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia. Before filing a claim, contact legal@relux.works so the parties can try in good faith to resolve it. This clause does not remove a non-waivable right to contact a regulator, consumer body or court available under applicable law.

T-15. Changes, language and contact

We may update these Terms for legal, safety or product changes. We will publish the new version and effective date and give additional notice or obtain consent where required. Material changes do not retroactively take ownership of your content. If you do not accept a future version, stop using non-local features before it takes effect.
